Job Description

Tandoor Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of tandoor-based dishes, including breads, kebabs, and marinated meats, using traditional clay oven techniques. The role demands expertise in Indian flavors, marinades, and cooking methods, ensuring consistent taste, quality, and presentation while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:



Prepare and cook tandoor dishes such as naan, roti, kebabs, tikka, and other specialties as per menu and guest requirements. Handle the tandoor oven efficiently, controlling temperature for optimal cooking results. Marinate meats and vegetables with authentic spice blends and yogurt-based preparations. Ensure proper portioning, plating, and garnishing of dishes. Maintain freshness and quality of ingredients through proper storage and rotation. Keep the workstation clean, organized, and compliant with food safety (HACCP) standards. Monitor cooking times to avoid overcooking or undercooking. Collaborate with the kitchen team for smooth service operations. Assist in developing new tandoor menu items or specials. Follow kitchen policies, grooming standards, and safety regulations.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
