About the Role:

The Search Consultant is responsible for proactively market mapping permanent candidates at Competitors to build a talent pipeline and market knowledge to support the search consultant. As our Market Research Analyst you will deliver longlists to your Search Consultant and working in partnership with Relationship Manager and Search consultant by developing a deep knowledge of competitor landscape and organisational structures.

Core Responsibilities:

Service Delivery:
  • Specifically aligned to either Professional Services (Tax, Audit and Advisory) or Financial Services (Wealth Management / Financial Planning)
  • Collaborates with the pillar Search Consultants to understand requirements (current and future) Maps the Professional Services (Tax, Audit and Advisory) or Financial Services (Wealth Management / Financial Planning) candidate marketplace
  • Develops a deep knowledge of Evelyn Partners competitive landscape and organisational structures in Professional Services (Tax, Audit and Advisory) or Financial Services (Wealth Financial Planning)
  • Tracks trainees, moves and promotions within competitor firms in Professional Services (Tax, Audit) and Financial Services (Wealth Management/ Financial Planning)
  • Tracks actively studiers and when they’re due to qualify in Professional Services (Tax, Audit)
  • Identifies candidates who are promotion ready or at a career / study milestone that is the prime time to influence a move in Professional Services (Tax, Audit)
  • Tracks skills that that move into commerce and industry from Professional Services firms in Tax and Audit Bridges the gap between data and execution of the sourcing strategy
  • Faces into Hiring Managers and talent marketplace
  • Leverages data intelligence and market research to execute the search strategy
  • Builds targeted talent pools based on skills and location
  • Builds targeted talent pools in South African Newly Qualified Audit market who are interested in relocating to the UK
  • Works closely with the Search Consultant who leads Hiring Manager briefing calls to agree the go-to-market approach and leads the proactive outreach, nurturing candidates through the decision-making cycle
Skills:
  • Demonstrable direct recruitment experience with multinational businesses from a research background – most likely in executive search
  • Track record in research for executive level roles niche in a skill set associates with a chronic candidate short market
  • Able to work collaboratively with colleagues – in this case the Search Consultant who are based in the UK
  • Motivated by an intellectually stimulating recruitment environment and able to think outside the box to find and research names connected to the industry
  • The role is utilising data add to specific talent pools and has analytical elements and requires good project management and time management skills.
  • The drive to continually look for ways to support the team in its continuous improvement and seek to improve quality of service for clients
