Who We Are Looking For:

Molex is seeking a dynamic FuSA Systems Engineer to be part of our strong Engineering Team to develop new products that we are bringing to market. You will be a part of our cross functional team and collaborate internationally with our design teams.

Education/Experience:

Bachelors or master\'s in Engineering in the field of Electrical / Electronics & Communications Engineering or Computer science or equivalent

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the development of electronic system / sub systems

Responsibilities:

Managing, coordinating, and tracking of product requirements through their complete life cycle

Analyze, clarify, and document product requirements considering relevant norms and standards in the automotive environment

Coordination and follow-up of change requests

Transfer requirements into technical system specifications and implementation guidelines or assign them to related experts and departments

Participate in concept development of complete electronic systems

Execute design reviews and risk analyses and support technical FMEAs

Setup and maintain traceability in compliance with Automotive SPICE

Execution of functional safety engineer activities according to ISO 26262

Support the creation of technical safety concepts

Definition and follow up of technical safety requirements

What You Will Need:

Required:

Proven expert in requirements engineering and the usage of related tools

Good knowledge of automotive development processes including V-Modell, ASPICE and agile methods

Good understanding of the ISO 26262 standard and its application during the development of embedded products

Initial exposure to functional safety engineering activities in an automotive environment

Experience in the development of embedded systems, ideally in an automotive environment

Knowledge in wireless charging technology according to the Qi standard or automotive application of USB technology are beneficial

Strong networking and confident communication skills

Goal oriented, structured, diligent, and independent work ethic
