Your Role and Responsibilities Technical Expert as WAS Admin, you are responsible for installing, upgrading, and configuring WAS, IHS and related tools across multiple platforms. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and application of patches on WAS running system. You should be able to support BAU responsibilities ensuring the up & running of application(s) 24 x 7, Monitoring Service now incidents and leading them to resolution, follow change management procedures, assisting in problem management and providing RCA inputs. Provide off-hours support for production applications. Develop a deep understanding of applications and integration and bring issues to resolution. Monitor application performance and improve response times. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Minimum 7+ years of experience in WebSphere Administration. This role will require you work both as individual contributor or in a team of experienced Application Server Administrators and support 24X7X365 operations, as the requirement may be. This role will require you to be hands on technical. Proven knowledge at configuration of WebSphere V7.0 including backup-config and restore-config profiles. Working knowledge and take initiative in WebSphere V8.0 implementation, support, Workload Management and Performance Tuning. Proficient to lead and drive third parties to the quick resolution of change. Exposure to infrastructure technologies. Experience in WebSphere performance monitoring/tuning and optimization/capacity planning. Validated expertise in Level 1/2/3 Support Experience in fixing with at least one of middleware or reciprocal development platform and support other team members. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Provide off-hours support for production applications. Develop a deep understanding of applications and integration and bring issues to resolution. Exposure in Scripting. At least 2 years of experience in automation (ansible/shell, Perl/python). Required Education Bachelor\'s Degree
