Job Description

We are searching for a "Systems Engineer - Network services" to join our Corporate IT Team.

The Systems Engineers primary focus is day-to-day operations of Lionbridge servers, networks, and computer systems in Lionbridge's datacenters and global data networks.

You are focused on monitoring of business-critical systems to prevent delays and outages in our high-availability datacenter and networks and finding and resolving irregularities and performance issues. You help coordinate and execute change projects to IT backend system and environments working with other Corporate IT teams, focusing on our global WAN network, firewalls, load balancers and switches, as well as connectivity to public clouds and customer networks.

Experience: 5+ years

What you will do:

Coordinate and implement changes to IT backend system and environments working with other Corporate IT teams.

Perform research and analysis of reported problems and issues, develop and recommend solution

Maintains configuration management tools and processes to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of IT services/systems.

Involvement in operational planning, creating standard operating procedures and policies.

Must be highly organized and capable of performing multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and take part in 24\7 work rotations.

To be successful you will have:

Bachelor or Master in IT of Science in Information Systems or its equivalent

Strong verbal and written English communication skills

Broad infrastructure IT experience and competence and specialist knowledge in one of more areas of Networking, such as managing configuration of switches, firewalls, routers, SD-WAN, Load balancers ect

Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience with working in a global team across multiple time zones
