In this role, you will:
Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Network Automation Engineer...

In this role, you will:
-Utilize existing tool sets and/or scripting to automate test plans with a goal to reduce device
certification delivery times. A high level of ownership and accountability will be critical in this role, as
will problem solving and creativity focused on continuous testing process improvement.
-Perform quarterly proactive network testing to ensure proper functioning and reliability of the
network
-Establishing and maintaining automated test plans for all products and software versions used by
network services
-Establishing system / data integrations where needed to enhance existing, or establish new, lab
processes
-Administering all automated testing tools within the lab
-Providing strategic direction and feedback on future automation tooling needs
Utilizing scripting and other available solutions to simplify high volume and/or high-risk tasks within
the lab
-Partner cross-functionally with other Product Infrastructure teams in order to continuously improve
and apply standards and policies relevant to operational excellence

Required Qualifications:
---------------------------
-Overall 15 years of experience in automation or software delivery
-Core Network Automation experience with hands on solution and software delivery in-line with industry standards and frameworks
-10 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: network automation,enterprise network, network configuration
-6 years of advanced scripting experience using Ansible, Python, Unix Shell Scripting

Desired Qualifications:

-Advanced scripting experience using Ansible, Python, Unix Shell Scripting, or Perl
-6 years of experience writing automated test cases
-Strong understanding of the software testing methodology (test cases, test suites, DUTs, SUTs, unit testing, system testing, integration testing)
-Understanding of writing Ansible playbooks and using Ansible Tower
-Strong understanding of Rest APIs and experience interfacing with them using Python, Ansible
-Familiarity with YAML, JSON, and Jinja
-Education a BS/BA degree or higher in information technology
