Roles & Responsibilities: Liaise with platform consumers on reported issues (context gathering) Preliminary analysis of platform support issues Issue severity classification Facilitate escalations to L2 Platform Engineers when required Diagnosis of common Kubernetes operational issues, such as - High-level control plane analysis: Controllers, Kube - API, ETCD - Pod status verification (Crash Loop/other not running states) - Nodes Not Ready - Namespace quota expansion - Startup/Liveness/Readiness probe misconfigurations - Resource allocation misconfigurations - Service misconfigurations - Status verification and handling of common errors Platform Monitoring System Status Checks Review Platform SRE Dashboards during incident analysis Identify and raise anomalies against USE trends. Assist product teams / platform users with resolving basic Kubernetes queries or issues (concepts, kubectl cli issues et al). Update and maintain platform support documentation. Ensure that information about system configurations and troubleshooting knowledge base are consistent and current. This Role Requires: Must Have: Must be a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) - Critical. VMware Tanzu OpenShift Linux admin AWS Minimum 2 years related working experience.
