About the Role:

  • Seeking a skilled Windows Administrator with 5+ years of experience in Windows (2012-2019) administration.
  • Responsibilities include configuring servers, applying patches, managing Active Directory, and collaborating on the transition to cloud environments.
  • Strong expertise in system performance monitoring and storage technologies is essential. Someone who aspires to learn SRE skills in the coming years.
About the Requirements:

Overall Work Experience: 5+ Years

Relevant in System Administration: Minimum 3 Years

Required Skills:
  • 5+ years hands on experience in Microsoft Windows administration (Windows 2012 thru 2019)
  • Hands-on experience with creating and maintaining Windows Active Directory environments including login scripts and group policies required.
  • Hands-on experience with system performance monitoring, and Storage technologies (ex. SAN).
About the Responsibilities:
  • Setup new / rebuild existing Microsoft Windows and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
  • Pro-actively, but prudently apply all necessary system software patch releases and/or upgrades for all operating system software and supplemental environmental and application software.
  • Provide support for Microsoft Active Directory domains.
  • Administering, installing, upgrading, monitoring, and maintaining MS Windows server infrastructure including Windows 2012 thru 2019 servers.
  • Monitor daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.
  • Maximize and maintain the efficiency of Accuity\'s hardware platforms by implementing procedures to review hardware and software error logs and preventive maintenance process checks and procedural safeguards. Ensure system shutdown and startup processes can be successfully completed in an unattended and automated process.
  • Develop and maintain documentation on all production operating procedures. Such items would include run instructions for hardware startup/shut down procedures and system backup procedures.
  • Monitor the daily error logs to review the success or unsuccessful job statuses and take appropriate escalation procedures to resolve unsuccessful job problems.
  • Provide support to disaster recovery plan.
  • Work with third party service providers to implement infrastructure changes based on business requirements.
  • Provide back up support to the other server and operations administrators.
  • Someone who aspires to learn SRE skills in the coming years.
