Whilst specific responsibilities will be dependent upon the changing needs of the Tesco business the following provides an overview of the role\'s key responsibilities and measures: - Play a key part in the introduction of automations software across Tesco providing technical expertise and shaping the solution - Developing and maintaining automations and orchestration tooling in line with business needs - Design solutions where integration between systems is required using APIs and middleware where required - Implement and maintain monitoring & analytics using New Relic BigPanda and Splunk - Implement and own engineering best practice including automated testing version control and continuous improvement/refactoring of existing systems - Provide recommendations to users on best practices and standards when using developed features - Provide support for the team\'s Products - Develop rules and configurations within the systems to meet user needs and extend functionality using triggers automations macros and extension rules. - Design and build applications within the tooling platform to extend the functionality beyond the immediate offering - Create and maintain technical documentation on the Product & developed features Qualifications You\'ll need to demonstrate: .5 years\' experience building owning and maintaining automation and workflow orchestration systems .Experience with designing and building system integrations using APIs and middleware .Experience writing automation scripts through PowerShell Python Groovy or similar .Experience working in an Agile development team (Scrum or Kanban) .A working understanding of networking .An ability to learn new technologies rapidly Additional Information Important Notice: On behalf of Tesco Bengaluru, we must caution all job seekers and educational institutions that Tesco Bengaluru does not authorise any third parties to release employment offers or conduct recruitment drives via a third party.
