About the department

The position is based in Commercial IT India - an area with 100+ employees closely working with colleagues across 7 Regions in International Operations and in North America Operations, within Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Medical and other Commercial functions.

The mission of Commercial IT GBS is to manage and provide best in class Project Management, System Management, Operations and Maintenance, System release activities across Novo Nordisk within the Digital, Data & IT domains built on modern cloud-based platforms such as Sales Force, AWS, MuleSoft, Adobe etc. The department works in sync with stakeholders across Novo Nordisk.

The Position

As a System Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing end to end life cycle management of International Operations (IO) FIT Platform. It involves managing and overseeing the Change/Release Management, Incident & Problem Management tracks while ensuring services are delivered within agreed KPI's and high quality.
  • Responsible to support IT System management & Project Management with good knowledge of Sales Incentive domain with experience in system onboarding and know how about various support systems. Keeping the system complaint as per SOP's defined and keeping ready for Global Internal Audits (GIA) and drive and own overall system documentation for the FIT.
  • Responsible to work with the external vendors to ensure their deliverables are of high quality and done in a timely manner, as well as participating in annual periodic reviews i.e. - (User Review Report, Configuration Review Report, IT Periodic System Evaluation), system budget with directly working with vendors/partners on contracts and invoice payments .
  • Experience in global stakeholders' management to understand and define the requirements, prioritizing the roadmap and vision of the system to meet business needs and coordinating with relevant implementation teams to get deliver the changes.
  • Should be flexible in future in transform the existing system setup to agile setup and taking up agile role like Scrum Master.
Qualifications
  • Graduates having bachelor's degree with 8+ years of IT experience.
  • Strong communication skills including ability to communicate with global stakeholders at various organizational levels and vendors.
  • Experience in Agile and SDLC methodology.
  • High degree of flexibility and good interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and have a strong desire to understand the business.
  • Experience with Axtria SalesIQ or any Sales Incentive Platform (good to have).
  • Experience with Pharma business processes (good to have).
