The Position:

As a System Manager, you are expected to head the system management activities - including but not limited to operation, maintenance, release, change, patch management, Incident and Problem management for the supported systems according to the ITIL framework along with Change and Release management. You will be entrusted with the below responsibilities:

  • You will participate in the new releases, design review, risk assessments and perform qualification activities for the changes in scope.
  • Further, you will perform patch assessments for the periodic patches released and provide technical solutions to the supported systems as and when needed.
  • You will closely collaborate with the external vendors to ensure their deliverables are of high quality and done in a timely manner.
  • As well as participate in annual periodic reviews (User Review Report, Configuration Review Report, IT Periodic System Evaluation).
  • You will maintain the systems in compliance with internal and external requirements and communicate and align with relevant stakeholders - LoB, NN QAs, System Owners, Project Owners, and other System Managers.
Qualifications
  • We ideally expect you to hold a master\'s degree, bachelor\'s degree, or similar graduate degree in a relevant.
  • 5+ years of relevant IT experience, preferably on IT System management, Incident/Problem Management or Change/Release Management.
  • Strong ITIL (Incident/Problem/Change management experience).
  • Exposure to handling audits and deviations.
  • Expereince in GXP.
  • Strong communication skills including ability to communicate with global stakeholders at various organizational levels and vendors.
  • Experience from working and managing in a project oriented, international matrix organization.
  • Ability to analyse and solve complex issues in a timely and structured manner.
  • Open to travel to Denmark to align with stakeholders and vendors

In DD&IT Development GBS Clinical Data Handling Solutions, a part of DD&IT GBS, a portfolio of GxP, financial & business critical applications are being managed and supported. These applications are among the most critical IT systems in Novo Nordisk supporting essential processes and being used 24x7 by thousands of users worldwide. Clinical Data Handling Solutions works closely with line of Business, System managers, Quality Check (QC)/Quality Assurance (QA) and subject matter experts across the Novo Nordisk IT organization in Denmark and India.
