The Role Role : Application Support with Linux Administration Location : Mumbai Your Role & Responsibilities: As Application Support personnel, need to perform application monitoring, deployment, configuration, upgradation and troubleshooting, Need to have understanding on Linux Operating system and provide support to Linux Operating System platform and suggest required changes as per industry standards. Implement improvements in the client environments. As application support, you need to monitor the performance of the application and ensure optimum performance of the application. Also application uptime and availability need to be maintained as per SLA. Responsibilities: Deploy, maintain and monitor UPI application as per best practices and as per SOP provided by OEM. Administer and monitor application performance and ensure availability for same. Monitor Application and System Logs for any errors and troubleshoot the issue and resolve. Maintain application logs, configuration files backup and assist to restore whenever required. Manage and administration of open source softwares / tools on the systems. Maintain all system tools for all scripts and automation processes and monitor all capacity planning. Integrate all required software and resolve any issues across various technologies Evaluate all documents related to application. Perform application deployment and perform testing on all development activities Develop an infrastructure to provide support to all business requirements and perform regular troubleshoot on system to resolve all issues. Monitor everyday systems and evaluate availability of all server resources and perform all activities for Linux servers. Maintain and monitor all application patch releases and design various patch installation strategies Administer all performance for various resources and ensure optimization for same and provide support to all applications and ensure optimal level of customer services. Perform tests on all new software and maintain patches for management services and perform audit on all security processes. Server Performance Management and Tuning Security Management by server hardening, Patch Management, Vulnerability fixing Should have good diagnostics and analysis skills to resolve technical problems Scripting knowledge Working experience on Ansible Automation Fair knowledge on ITIL process and Practices If you thrive in a dynamic, collaborative workplace, KYNDRYL provides an environment where you will be challenged and inspired every single day. Required Skills: Experience in managing Application / Middleware with Analytical skills. Application monitoring skills with good knowledge on performance tuning Working experience on managing UPI / Banking payment applications is preferred. Should have Unix fundamentals experience and skills on managing application on Unix environment Working knowledge of application and infrastructure-layer security design patterns, technologies and products. Must have a clear knowledge of ITIL based service delivery. Strong communications skill and multiple stakeholder\'s management Trouble shooting technical issues Knowledge of automation to reduce the number of incidents or repetitive incidents are preferred. Work with project team from envision to deployment of the solution in production. Preferred Skills: Linux administration with RHCSA / RHCE Certification ITIL V3 to Intermediate level. Required Technical and Professional Expertise . Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019 implementation and management . VMware ESX experience . Public/private cloud management. Especially migration from onprem to cloud solution Preferred Technical and Professional Experience . Automation experience, especially IaaS (infrastructure as a code) . Vulnerability management .
