We are pleased to inform that Cerner is looking for a Systems Engineer II within BLR IT Works. As a System Engineer II, you will provide Microsoft Windows Server operating system support. You will be monitor and maintain server performance, availability and ensure compliance to Service Level Agreements. You will be address operational systems issues including file and share permissions, user accounts and installing applications. You will use provided incident management system to properly document and resolve problems and understanding of Change Management frameworks such as ITIL. You will provide required support for disaster recovery efforts (real or simulated. You will possess Windows scripting skills and properly handle documents according to appropriate regulations and guidance including classification level.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• At least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:

• At least 1 year customer service, call center, hospitality and/or technical support work experience
• At least 5 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge and hands-on experience of Windows Systems Administration and SCCM.
