Job Description

Oracle Cerner is excited to hire a System Engineer I. As a System Engineer I, you will perform daily system operations tasks to verify system integrity and availability. You will conduct ongoing performance tuning, hardware/OS upgrades, and resource optimization. You are responsible to implement monitoring for applications and servers and respond to alarms in a timely manner, preventing client impact and performance degradation. You will also deploy physical and virtual servers. You need to complete assigned incident management tasks. You will deploy, set up, and maintain testing environments and also provide Tier III and other support per service request.

Working Environment

Hybrid & Onsite: No Relocation Assistance Offered This position offers a Hybrid & Onsite working environment. Meaning you will split working time between a Cerner office or client site and remote. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 4 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of Mysql work experience
• Basics on Linux
• Basics on Networking
