About this opportunity
We at Ericsson is looking for proactive, multifaceted, and proficient individual for a system architect position in R&D. We are a R&D unit in Ericsson, building world class cloud-native based software for telecom operators. We are looking for a dedicated and proactive individual having Java and cloud native product development. Resource will be encouraged to initiate and participate in knowledge-sharing activities, as well as coaching and mentoring others in team to build their competence.

What you will do

• Be accountable for software development and maintenance including software design, implementation, test, integration/release, and bug fixing.
• Participation in requirement/user story analysis and support Product Owner and Software Architect on solution and architecture analysis.
• Perform BSUC study, estimation
• Design, implement user stories during development iterations, which shall include task breakdown, effort estimation and planning, implementation, test, demo and DoD.
• Ensure software code quality, testability, maintainability and function usability.
• Work with Technical Writer and provide input for documentation.
• Work in Scrum team, follow Scrum Way of Working and ensure Scrum team running efficiently.

You will bring

• 10+ years of experience working in software development.
• Proficient in server-side Java programing language.
• Good knowledge of Linux, Virtualization
• Good knowledge of Ansible, Python, Shell,
• Experience of Git, Maven, Gradle build tool.
• Comfort with Object-Oriented design patterns, Agile methods such as Scrum.
• Good at both written and spoken English.
• Good in automation test frameworks and Skilled in writing test cases with JUnit.
• Optionally know any of Opensearch, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Filebeat, Fluentbit, Prometheus, Victoria, Keycloak.
• Basic knowledge of message bus, such as Kafka.
• Basic Web GUI development skill using Java, HTML/JavaScript/React.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with multi-functional teams and stakeholders.
