Experience: 1. 8 years of Web, Application and Database server administration 2. Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols 3. UAT and production Server maintenance 4. Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols 5. Certification on following will be preferred: AWS / Azure Cloud Architect, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) 6. Red Hat Certified Engineer Technical Skill Set: 1. Microsoft Windows Server, RHEL, Ubuntu, Debian, SUSE, CentOS, VMware 2. Internet Information Server, Apache, Tomcat, Node 3. SVN, GIT, Azure DevOps CICD for release management PowerShell & other Server side Scripting 4. LDAP/ AD Management 5. DNS, DHCP Management 6. SAN, NAS Management 7. Basic DB side administration including backup & restore for MySQL, Postgres, MS-SQL & Oracle 8. Exposure on State Data Center / National Datacenter / AWS / Azure or other Cloud operations Key Responsibilities: 1. Proven experience as a Server Administrator or similar role for Windows / Linux based Servers. 2. Configuration of servers, operating systems administration, hardening, load balancers, firewall including but not limited to management of users, processes, resource contention, preventive maintenance and management of updates & patches to ensure that the system is properly updated 3. Re-installation in the event of system crash/failures 4. Periodic health check of the systems, troubleshooting problems, analyzing and implementing rectification measures 5. Implementation and maintenance of standard operating procedures for maintenance of the infrastructure Management of the usernames, roles and passwords of all the relevant subsystems, including, but not limited to servers, applications, devices, etc. 6. Implementing security on the Internet and Intranet 7. Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery 8. Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes 9. Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions 10. Install and configure software and hardware 11. Manage network servers and technology tools, Set up accounts and workstations 12. Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements 13. Troubleshoot issues and outages, Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls 14. Upgrade/ patching of systems with new releases and models time to time. 15. Maintain code repository server and access configuration 16. Maintain cloud infrastructure, application and database backup. 17. Configure and Maintain Server scaling and High Availability & Disaster Recovery 18. Web / Mobile Application release management activities on staging and production server. 19. Application Deployment on .Net / Java/ PHP based applications on Windows / Linux Servers Qualification: 1. BE/B.TECH or PG in IT / CS or equivalent 2. Post-Graduation in Engineering in Computer Science /MTECH Computer Science & Engineering/ Information Technology/BCE/ Information Science/MCA/BTECH-CSE/IT.
