Purpose

To provide 1st, 2nd or 3rd level technical support to Brennan IT clients, engineers and staff, 1st level monitoring and technical support to Brennan IT clients and staff. To coordinate, collaborate and escalate incidents within stipulated timelines, maintain existing cloud/infrastructure services and ensure that environment runs in an optimal way. and Continuously Improve the Efficiency and Excellence of Service Delivery as Measured by Client facing Surveys and Ratings in every department you are part of.
Key Responsibilities
  • \xc3\x98 Maintaining/contributing to KMS for client and internal team, for both technical & processes
  • \xc3\x98 Server monitoring using SCOM, N-ABLE, Logic Monitor, Basic Intune / SCCM configurations
  • \xc3\x98 Understanding of O365, Mimecast, Intune, Azure integration
  • \xc3\x98 Manage security settings on Microsoft ATP
  • \xc3\x98 Knowledge of endpoint security at CSP level for Sophos, SentinelOne, CrowdStrike etc.
  • \xc3\x98 Ability to perform initial investigation on security breach alerts
  • \xc3\x98 Vendor Management (hardware and Software vendors \xe2\x80\x93 HP, Dell, MS, VM, Citrix and others)
  • \xc3\x98 Storage understanding NAS, SAN e.g., data domain, IBM, Netapp, Hitachi, Fujitsu, HP 3par
  • \xc3\x98 Administration of Windows Server, groups, group policies, DNS, DHCP
  • \xc3\x98 Understanding of backups, replications for Veeam, Symantec, Zetro, Commvault
  • \xc3\x98 On premises backup alert management, monitoring and restoration
  • \xc3\x98 Execution of maintenance tasks, App upgrades, patch escalations etc.
  • \xc3\x98 Monitor, Investigate and escalate issues in timely manner as per escalation Matrix
  • \xc3\x98 Ability to manage technical escalations from client/end user/internal team
  • \xc3\x98 Migration of VM\xe2\x80\x99s from on premise to cloud
  • \xc3\x98 Basic understanding of SQL, maintenance plan, backup
  • \xc3\x98 Understanding of certificate management on appliance, servers, websites
  • \xc3\x98 SSL certificate renewal and installation on various roles (IIS, ADFS, ADC-Netscaler, Apache, SQL Reporting Services, WAS, Load Balancers)
  • \xc3\x98 Smooth and timely customer engagement
  • \xc3\x98 Disk, CPU, Snapshot management provisioning
  • \xc3\x98 Monitor, manage experience with ESXI/Hyper-V hosts, Nutanix, Dell, HP SimpliVity
  • \xc3\x98 Manage understand Failover Cluster, NLB
  • \xc3\x98 Citrix/RDS/WVD knowledge with application publishing, upgrading, managing securely
  • \xc3\x98 Manage windows update compliance.
  • \xc3\x98 Antivirus Management, Sophos, Defender.
  • \xc3\x98 Routine firmware upgrades of Physical Servers.
  • \xc3\x98 Capacity planning and management
  • \xc3\x98 Patching ESXi hosts and vCenter updates
  • \xc3\x98 Basic know how of linux
  • \xc3\x98 Availability during critical outages impacting multiple functions
  • \xc3\x98 Maintain the performance level and upkeep virtual, physical infrastructure
  • \xc3\x98 Working within the team to develop processes to enable Automation, Orchestration, and enhance existing services
  • \xc3\x98 Knowledge of vulnerability management and critical remediation
  • \xc3\x98 Change management, performing RCA and able to clearly articulate the actions/outcomes

Desired Experience: 2-5 yrs. minimum experience in Windows Server Administration / System Administration / Wintel Administration / Hyper V Administration / IT Technical Support role/ for international clients, preferably in MS IT provider / IT Companies.

  • \xc3\x98 Knowledge of as many more technologies like VMware, Windows Hypervisors, Azure Administrations, O365, Mimecast, SQL Administration, Windows Administration.
  • \xc3\x98 Must have secondary and tertiary technical skills.
  • \xc3\x98 Should have experience in VM Deployment, VM Migration, managing host clusters
  • \xc3\x98 Extremely high-level attention to detail with methodical troubleshooting process
  • \xc3\x98 Independent time management skills
  • \xc3\x98 Good verbal and written communication skills
  • \xc3\x98 Must have knowledge of Storage technologies like HP, IBM, Dell, Cisco servers
  • \xc3\x98 Demonstrable Industry based technical aptitude (E.g., Microsoft, Citrix, HP, VMware, Hyperv, Nutanix, O365, Azure Administration)
  • \xc3\x98 Proactive vs Reactive approach
  • \xc3\x98 ITIL Service Management Foundation accreditation

Essential Skills:
  • \xc3\x98 Windows Server including 2016/2019, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
  • \xc3\x98 Active Directory 2012 and above
  • \xc3\x98 VMware / Virtualization (Hyper \xe2\x80\x93 V, VMware)
  • \xc3\x98 O365, Azure Administration

Desired Skills:
  • \xc3\x98 Exposure to Backup tools like Veeam/Commvault/Backup exec
  • \xc3\x98 Windows Administration certifications 2012 and above
  • \xc3\x98 Exposure to SAN /NAS
  • \xc3\x98 MS Azure and Office 365 Administration
  • \xc3\x98 Symantec Endpoint or McAfee or Sophos or SentinelOne or CrowdStrike
  • \xc3\x98 Exposure to Blade servers and configurations
