Job title: System Administrator - Cloud Specialist

Reporting to: Systems Team Lead/Manager

About the role:

Working in the IT systems team you will be responsible for the support and maintenance of the Sapiens global IT infrastructure.

Provide a high level of customer service.

Ensure that tasks assigned to you in the ServiceNow and SCSM platform are completed within the agreed OLA and SLA\'s. Proactively deal with tickets in the ServiceNow and SCSM platform.

Implement new projects.

Qualifications

Degree in an IT or related subject.

Skills, knowledge, and certifications

Essential

Operating Systems

Windows: Deploy, configure, and administer a Window Server 2008 to Server 2022 environment.

Standards: ITIL - Knowledge and experience of the ITIL framework and practices.

Cloud Technology: Working experience of both public (Azure, AWS, etc) and private clouds. Microsoft Azure knowledge and experience to at least AZ-104 certification level and working towards AZ-303 and AZ-304 certification. In depth knowledge of Azure technologies and service catalogue.

Azure - IaaS, PaaS, SaaS

Deploy and maintain infrastructure and services in public cloud environments.

Azure Compute. Azure Virtual Machines (VM Sizing, Availability, Encryption, Replication, Scale Sets & Migration)

Azure Storage

Azure Networking (vNet\'s VPN Gateway, Application Gateway, Peering, Azure Firewall, etc) Azure Monitor/Azure Log Analytics

Azure Policy, Azure Security Centre

Azure AD

Azure PowerShell, Azure CLI, Azure Resource Manager, ARM Templates

Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Backup

AKS

Knowledge and experience of Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bicep, JSON, Visual Studio Code, etc would be advantageous.

Desirable

Linux: Deploy, configure, implement, and administer a Linux environment comprising of at least CentOS, RedHat and Oracle Linux. Knowledge and experience of other distributions will be advantageous

Cloud Technology: AWS

Experience

5+ years\' experience working in an enterprise level IT environment of a global multi-site organisation or at least 7+ years of suitable experience in a SME environment.
