Essential Functions

• Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, O365 systems, Servers and Storage HW, Windows Server, VMWare and Azure.
• Implementation, troubleshoot and maintenance of business systems, including Windows server Environment, operating systems, Servers and Storage, Virtualization and Azure.
• Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
• Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
• Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
• Proactively monitor system performance to provide capacity planning and optimization recommendations.
• Coordinates the periodic maintenance of System updates.
• Next level support for Helpdesk team to support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and

related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.

• Deploy and design cloud computing services such as IaaS, SaaS and PaaS.
• Perform patching for Windows, Linux and other operating systems and third party components.

Skills needed to be successful.

• Demonstrate hardware and software troubleshooting skills, troubleshooting workflows and knowledge of troubleshooting tools, including strong documentation

• Strong knowledge of Windows Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, IIS administration and configuration.

• Managing server virtualization technologies like VMWare Server/ESX or Microsoft Hyper-V/Virtua server.

• Some knowledge of Linux / Unix Operating Systems

• Knowledge of PowerShell
• Good working knowledge of Azure
• Sound understanding of networking knowledge on and Firewall security. Understanding of IP address classes and managing the routes.
• Hands on Experience in O365 administration
• Good knowledge on backup and restoration.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Required Experience & Education

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information systems or related field.
• Total 5+ years of IT experience out of which 3+ years should be in Windows Server administration.
• Min 1 year working experience in Azure.
• Strong understanding of multiple technologies including but not limited to Server hardware & Server OS,

Virtualization, VMWare, Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, Office365.

• Microsoft Certification on Windows Server Administration.
