Skills Needed:



STRONG

• You must have Experience of 4+ years of experience in SAP/Sybase Database technologies
• Working Knowledge on SAP/Sybase ASE and Replication server is a must
• Hands-on experience with shell scripting (bash, csh, sh)
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Must be able to handle L1-L3 requests/tickets from customer and communication with customer over the phone/email.
  

GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS

• Experience with SAP IQ and ASE on SAP Business Suite and SAP HANA Admin would be additional advantage
  

Additional Information:

• Qualification: BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech / MCA. Any Graduate
• 4+ years of experience in SAP/Sybase Database technologies
  

The candidate should have relevant work experience on SAP/Sybase Database technologies for minimum 4-6 years and above on customer projects and having good communication and documentation skills :

• Working Knowledge on SAP/Sybase ASE and Replication server is a must. *Experience with SAP IQ and ASE on SAP Business Suite and SAP HANA Admin would be additional advantage.
• Hands-on experience with shell scripting (bash, csh, sh)
• Should be able to perform all database administration tasks including but not limited to database backup and recovery, user administration, space management, mda table, setup auditing, installation, configuration, upgrades, db refresh, maintenance tasks like reorg rebuild, update stats, dbcc checks.
• Should be well versed with database level P&T, identify performance and running bottlenecks and recommend best practices, best approach according to situation will be preferred.
• Should have working knowledge on MDA tools or any of the monitoring tools like Bradmark, Solution Manager, DBA cockpit, Solarwind, Nagios, FRUN etc.
• Candidate should be able to troubleshoot and administer Replication Server issues like latency, P&T, thread down, any errors, setup and sync MSA/Warm Standby/Table Level Replication.
• Well versed with new features with respect to latest versions of ASE, SRS, IQ and HANA
• Must be able to handle L1-L3 requests/tickets from customer and communication with customer over the phone/email.
• Strong technical and analytical skills

** Comfortable working in 24x7x365 project environment. Ready to work in shifts including weekend and night shift on rotational basis (a MUST requirement)
