Job Purpose : To drive business growth by hyperlocal growth hacking for the city and ensure right marketing strategies are adopted and executed to meet business objectives for the city
Areas of responsibility :
Business Growth:
- Drive demand in collaboration with central and local campaigns in line with hyper local behavior
- Analyze area wise growth levers and plan interventions for improving OPD & AOV figures
- Influence and drive QOP and MOP priorities and ensure closure of related items for the city
- Track competition activities and devise strategies to control business impact.
- Strategize and plan projects like Area Expansion, Category Expansion, Long Distance, Swiggy Select, Super users, etc to increase new users and repeat user statistics
Marketing :
- Plan quarterly marketing budgets in BTL/ATL (Below The Line / Above The Line) activities
- Idealize and run City level campaigns by coordination with Supply, Ops, Central Marketing and Merchandising teams
- Ensure execution of BTL activities in strong/weak zones as per plan leading to increase in new users/repeat users
- Install trade collaterals at restaurant partners for brand visibility
- Measure, track and analyze BTL performance on business metrics plan for future course of action
Stakeholder Management :
- Coordinate with Sales team on key acquisitions, Trade discount parity and campaign participation
- Coordinate with Ops on Order forecast, DE hiring & reduction in variable costs
- Collaborate with central business & marketing functions on analytics & media planning
Team Management :
- Development of people and counselling team to increase productivity
- Identify learning needs and and provide necessary opportunities to attain them
- Work with team members on career planning and up-skilling them for next role
New Initiatives and Projects :
- Planning new area expansion in synergy with Operations and Supply or Customer experience
- Drive special projects that lead to growth lie tie ups with tech parks, piloting new practices/processes/strategies.
- Building categories like Breakfast and Late Night or tie ups with other companies or agencies like nastway/RMZ etc to attain business objectives and track their progress
- Closely monitoring the execution of projects such as Long Distance, Swiggy Access, etc in coordination with Central team
- Planning in app and BTL interventions for the growth of initiatives like Swiggy Select / Super / POP etc
- Tracking the performance of critical projects / initiatives and course correcting as required to achieve set business objectives
Desired Skill Set :
- High ownership, accountability, and bias for action are a must.
- Strong academic background (Post Graduate/ Graduate) with 6-8 years\' work experience.
- Prefer relevant experience in Retail/E-commerce industry in leading businesses
- Prior experience in process design and operations implementation (preferably in Logistics / Supply chain management)
- Prior leadership experience. (Experience in managing teams)
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize to meet daily, weekly, and long-term requirements and goals.
- Data analytics skills / should be comfortable working with MS excel. Should have the intuition to use data effectively for devising operations strategy.
- Structured problem solving, detail oriented and customer first attitude.
- Must have attention to detail and critically think through and resolve problems.
- Must have customer service skills and be able to maintain a consistent, elevated level of service
