In the organization of Vehicle Networking and Information - Central Engineering, as a DevOps engineer you join our DevOps team to handle the following topics

• Evaluation and implementation of tools and drafts for automating deployments,
• To Derive the Requirements and convert into tasks for team members.
• To accompany the complete software development process by agile methods up to the start of production.
• To automate all aspects around configuration and deployment of the software as well as the cloud infrastructure support
• Communication with technical experts, product owners, architects during a development process
• Defines appropriate automation scripts that promotes efficient build & release workflow
• To ensure the Quality outcomes from the team members through Technical Guidance and Review process
• To recognize and check new technology and trends on relevance and applicability.
• Submitting, solving and clarification of problems and defects with other developers
• Keen to work with equally motivated colleagues across the globe

Job Requirements

- University degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or equivalent

- 7 to 12 years of experience in software development, scripting, integration, test automation,

- Prior working experience in a DevOps environment

- Strong in Programming Fundamentals

- Experience in dealing with automated solutions (Ex: Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible)

- Expertise with test automation tools and strategies for embedded systems

- Continuous Integration Process (Jenkins, GitLab CI, \xe2\x80\xa6)

- Continuous Delivery Processes & Open Source Technology like Docker, Kubernetes

- Experience of software / scripting languages (Ex: C/ C++, Python, Bash/Shell, Batch/Powershell)

- Experience in dealing with Software Configuration Management (e.g. Git, Github) and Change Management (e.g. Jira, Confluence)

- Experience in Agile / SAFe development

- Experience of Linux administration

- Solution-oriented & autonomous working

- Excellent analytical & conception skills associated with a high sense of responsibility
