Job Description

TE Connectivitys Software Systems Engineering Teams provide functional and empirical analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of software operating/automation systems, including, but not limited to, utility, development, and diagnostic software. They perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost, risk, supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

ROLE OBJECTIVE

The Test Engineer will report to the Supervisor Software Engineering, Energy and will be a member of the Electronic and Sensor Integration Engineering team and responsible for the testing of software for systems and products and will support all TE Energy product lines including Crompton Instruments (Power meters), Cable Accessories, Insulation & Protection and Connectors & fittings for LV, MV & HV applications.

CRITICAL EXPERIENCE

Good knowledge in MYSQL Database & Mongo DB.
Good knowledge of Linux/Unix commands is mandatory.
Experience in REST API Testing.
Must have any experience in any of Web/Application Server (Apache, NGINX, etc.,).
Work experience in any of IOTs handling huge traffic, big data & real-time analytics will be added advantage.
Experience with ALM tools like JIRA/Codebeamer
Should have knowledge on SQL scripting
Basic networking troubleshooting & understanding knowledge.
Process experience with Agile-SCRUM software development methodologies

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE

Computing/Electrical/Electronic Engineering Degree
4 years experience in a Product and Software testing role in an IT and Electronic type of
industry is essential
Experience in system integration and end to end system testing
Programming in Javascript / NodeJs, SQL Scripting, Networking, Relational Database
Software development life cycle using Agile-SCRUM Methodology
Continuous process improvement
Linux & MS Windows
Proficient in MS Office suite
Fluent English
Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
