As a Software Engineer you will own the responsibility for the overall development of the controller in customer projects. Your responsibility will embrace mainly the following

• Development of the controller software to fulfil functional and non-functional customer requirements
• Analysis of bug reports and bug fixing
• Collaborating with the software development team on application design and development
• Developing software on different platforms and projects
• Optimizing software by performing maintenance, updates, and upgrades
• Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures
• Execution of design and code reviews

Skills

• University degree in Computer Science, Electronics or any comparable qualification
• Several years(5) of experience in Automotive projects
• Expert knowledge in C++
• Expert knowledge in software engineering of Automotive Systems
• Proven knowledge in modern operating systems as Linux, ideally also Android
• Knowledge of underlying Communication Frameworks
• Good understanding of automotive communication architectures like CAN and Ethernet as well as communication protocols as TCP/IP and SomeIP
• Solid background in using state of the art software engineering tools like Enterprise Architect, git, and JIRA
• Good communication skills
• Fluent communication in English
