Role Responsibilities

Transformation, Technology & Operations (TTO) organisation within SCB spans
40k people and c.$4bn USD cost base. TTO organization is supported by the TTO CFO organisation under Functions Finance. This role provides support to CFO, TTO and the broader TTO finance management team with reporting and analytics of the $4bn cost base including responsibility for the delivery of planning and performance management processes.

This role has overall responsibility of FP&A support for the $1.2 B Operations function costs covering all aspects of financial planning and analysis value chain.

Strategy*

  • Strengthen FP&A partnership for Operations, augment finance capacity to support Strategy 25 transformation & enhance P2P by implementing the TOM for the TTO Finance \xe2\x80\x93 Operations team
Business*
  • Work closely with Regional CIO\xe2\x80\x99s and COO\xe2\x80\x99s in developing 5-year strategy and financials for the Operations, and in reviewing and challenging the strategic options and actions to drive productivity, and sustainable saves.
Processes*
  • Lead overall analytics and insight on the full gross cost base of the Operations to drive and track cost optimisation and productivity realisation in line with corporate plan commitments.
  • Lead the delivery of the standardisation and optimisation of reporting of Incurred cost financials for Operations.
  • Actively contribute to the wider TTO finance change agenda where necessary
  • Lead and Drive bespoke performance management initiatives like unit costing, performance cells and client life cycle costing modelling aimed at significantly moving the dial on Ops cost analytics
  • Lead the transition for both process and financial outcomes related to New financial reporting requirements
  • Lead finance activities relating to business realignment and restructures including change management and restatement of financial and management reporting, corporate plans, scorecards, reporting structures, and financial systems as well as tracking and reporting of cost synergy achievements.
  • Drive implementation of the agreed roadmap forging effective partnership with P2P and TTO finance eco system
  • Develop and own governance framework for TTO cost recharges and its distinct components.
  • Continuously improve process and provide thought leadership and execution support to transform TTO recharge infrastructure in line with Fin Ops strategy of driving touchless processing and standardisation
  • Create analytics and MI capability which enhances understanding and transparency on drivers and cost allocation outcomes
  • Partner with TTO FP&A Head & TTO CFO on strategic MI requirements as well as day to day adhoc related to TTO financials
  • Build strong relationships with all stakeholders across organisation and effectively communicate financial insights and recommendations to non -financial stakeholders

Qualifications

Training, licenses, memberships and certifications
  • Professionally Qualified (CA\xe2\x80\x99s, CIMA\xe2\x80\x99s CPA\xe2\x80\x99s) or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in finance with extensive experience in leading FP&A at a senior level in banking or financial services industry
  • Proven track record of business partnering for large and complex organisation with huge cost base
  • Strong and effective leadership communication skills with a proven ability to influence & challenge the senior stakeholders effectively
  • Proactive approach to recognising stakeholder needs, solving problems, anticipating issues, and developing solutions, excellent business judgment and strategic thinking.
  • Able to work in a high-pressure environment and ability to manage multiple deliverables in a timely and effective manner
  • Strong networking and interpersonal skills, forming positive working relationship in in a geographically and culturally dispersed environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills i.e., PowerPoint, Excel,
