POSITION SUMMARY This position will work for the Corporate Sustainability team, in concert with Supply Chain, R&D, Marketing, Investor Relations, HR, and the business units to make progress against our sustainability goals. The Lifecycle carbon footprint Analyst will work across all regions and functions on sustainability projects. Most of the work will be to quantify the sustainability benefits of Diversey products and solutions. Diversey\'s products often help our customers lower their carbon footprint, reduce water consumption, prevent waste, and save energy. Social benefits of Diversey products include helping with infection prevention and improving the safety of cleaning products. This position will help analyze and quantify those benefits. This position will calculate benefits such as packaging reductions, carbon footprint improvements, water savings, and product use. The position will need to collect information across geographies and functions, such as product application details, packaging data, formulas, and shipping distances. Results of these assessments will need to be communicated clearly to stakeholders including sales, marketing, customers, and investors. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Use Excel or Google Sheets to quantify packaging reductions based on customer purchases of Diversey products. Use online Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) tools to calculate the carbon footprint of Diversey products. Create and maintain databases to track and report progress on Net Positive and Operational Efficiency. Populate sustainability dashboards with data extracted from adjacent databases. Perform quality assurance of sustainability data. Collect, organize, and analyze data (e.g. raw materials purchased, 3 rd party logistics, energy use) from functions within Diversey to assist in LCA, Scope 3 carbon accounting, and sustainability reports. Extract packaging information from existing sources, organize the data, quantify the materials circularity index, and communicate results to internal stakeholders.
