About this opportunity

We are now looking for a Support Engineer that will provide technical service and support to our customers. In this role, you will fix and resolve problems to stabilize and optimize customer networks. You will configure and integrate different nodes and solutions in new and live customer networks.

What you will do

• Software Update Management (SUM) deliveries
• Perform Software Upgrades, FNI, Prepare MOPs, ICP studies, audit, baby-sitting (monitoring) of Ericsson RAN & Core products
• Perform SW upgrades of Ericsson RAN products such as BTS, BSC, EnodeB, baseband nodes, GnodeB (NR) on AXE & CPP platforms.
• Perform SW upgrades of Ericsson Core products such as APG, MSC, HLR, MGW, HLR-FE.
• Basic troubleshooting, Customer Issue handling, trace and error log collection as necessary.
• Make customer aware on product Life cycle i.e. HW or SW
• Work with customer for planned activities in live network as per change requests (CR).
• To ensure the tasks delegated are carried out efficiently and error free to meet SLAs/WLAs
• 24X7 assignments, odd shifts, night shifts

You will bring:

• Hands on experience working on RAN Equipment's/Products like BTS, BSC, EnodeB, baseband nodes, GnodeB (NR) on AXE & CPP platforms
• Hands on experience working on Core Equipment's/Products like APG, MSC, HLR, MGW, HLR-FE
• Telecommunications knowledge e.g. telecommunication networks RAN & Core concepts.
• Good knowledge of GSM, WCDMA, LTE or 5G technology.
• Basic understanding of RAN tuning and Optimization techniques.
• Basic knowledge in upcoming Technology - 5G/Cloud, protocols and procedures.
• Basic competence in Analyzing L2, L3 and Physical layer traces and Error logs are added advantage.
• Delivering results & meeting customer expectations by applying expertise & technology.
