The India Sponsored Product Ads Tech team build and enhance the services that interfaces between Amazon Ad products and Product advertisers through which most of the Ads revenue flows for Amazon India marketplace. The mission of the team is to enhance and simplify the experience of the advertiser while they use the Amazon ecosystem to advertise their products and increase their reach. Our products and services are used by advertisers of all sizes - from world\'s largest brands to small businesses. We cater to both managed and self-serve advertisers while improving adoption, convenience, communication, payments, billing, reporting, etc. The team owns automating the billing workflow for the advertisers and also owning the optimization of Ads inventory consumption to ensure higher coverage for Product Ads.

Key job responsibilities
As a support engineer, you will be leading the operational effort for supporting the functioning of Sponsored Product ads in Amazon platform for India marketplace. You will be involved in debugging and resolving high priority customer issues, interfacing with multiple partner teams, execution of operational tasks, automation via scripting, deployment tasks, and other oncall duties.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 1+ years of software development, or 1+ years of technical support experience
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
- Experience scripting in modern program languages

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
- Experience with Unix shell scripting and system administration.
- Knowledge of AWS fundamentals.
