Job Purpose
Job Context: Ensuring Operational Continuity

• E&I staff maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, PLCs, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Prevent unplanned downtime by ensuring systems function reliably and safely.

Safety Assurance

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, hazardous area regulations (e.g., ATEX/IECEx), and process safety.
• Regular inspections, grounding, and fault detection prevent accidents and fires.

Support in Projects & Commissioning

• E&I staff are key to planning, installation, and commissioning of new systems (motors, drives, DCS/PLC, SCADA, analyzers).
• Enable faster ramp-up and integration with existing infrastructure.

Job Challenges : Innovation & Digitalization

• Support implementation of IoT, smart sensors, automation, and digital control systems.
• Enable data acquisition and analytics for predictive maintenance and efficiency improvement.

Cost Control

• Reduce maintenance and operation costs by preventive maintenance and efficient energy management.
• Avoid major breakdowns which may lead to production losses and costly repairs.
