Job Purpose
4) Key Result Areas/Accountabilities:
Supporting Actions

• Oversee routine, breakdown, preventive, and scheduled maintenance work.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on various machinery, including Extrusion presses, Furnaces, EOT cranes, CNC machines, Metallurgy lab equipment, and other die shop machines.

• Address and resolve equipment breakdowns with high efficiency and timely decision-making.
• Ensure prompt and effective resolution of issues to maintain continuous plant productivity.
• Provide round the clock support to team members for break down support

• Oversee switch room operations, including the maintenance and operation of HT/LT switch gears and transformers, ensuring safety and compliance with operational standards.

• Develop and implement modified equipment logics to enhance operational efficiency and ensure seamless machine operation.
• Ensure maximum productivity and efficiency of the Extrusion plant by minimizing downtime and maintaining equipment in top condition.

• Assist in the timely completion of projects under various initiatives.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure project goals are met and deadlines are achieved.

• Manage spare parts inventory, including critical spares, and handle item code generation, PR, PO, inspection, and service bill processing.

• Conduct OJT, ICP, and other technical training sessions to empower technicians and improve their efficiency and safety.
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and performance.

• expertise in process control equipment such as RTD, TC, temperature controllers, and pressure transmitters.
• knowledge of network communications (Ethernet, ControlNet, Serial) and instruments with analog signals.
• Proficient in the use and maintenance of encoders and barcode scanners

• Demonstrate high proficiency in control wirings, PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs.

• Maintain and operate fire alarm systems, CCTV, ammonia leakage systems, and laser engraving machines.

• Conduct and coordinate equipment calibration processes to ensure accuracy and operational efficiency.

• Ensure the safety of personnel and equipment during maintenance works, adhering to roles such as PA and AO in the e-permit system.
• Confirm the availability and use of appropriate safety equipment.
• Ensure timely closure of safety observations from audits and participate in safety subcommittees to maintain compliance with safety standards.

• Manage team discipline, absenteeism, and interpersonal relations to foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Prepare and review monthly and weekly reports on maintenance activities, BD analysis, cost analysis, and checklists.
• Identify training needs and provide relevant training to team members.

• Engage with external vendors for procurement and maintenance services, ensuring effective communication and coordination.

• Prepare and maintain SOPs, SWIs, HIRA, and MOC.
• Manage documentation for various audits and ensure timely completion of all required paperwork.

• Collaborate with engineering team for technical support, equipment upgrades, and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Engage with safety officer and Subcommittee to ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations
• Work with project team to oversee Capex projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and specifications.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to manage inventory and procurement of critical spare parts
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure minimal disruption to plant productivity during maintenance activities

• Engage with external vendors for the procurement of spare parts and maintenance services
• Collaborate with consultants and technical experts for specialized advice, troubleshooting, and technological upgrades.
