Job Purpose The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction and profitable growth of vaccine business through reliable distribution of vaccines from port to GSK hub, CFAs and onward to the customers across India, tracking and minimizing any demand - supply gaps thus strongly contributing to sales ambition. The role is the face of Vx distribution and customer service to India commercial teams and is expected to communicate on processes/constraints and manage supply risks/issues. This role also leads execution of Vx warehouse network optimization project ensuring onboarding of LSPs, implementing network changes, delivering project KPIs of on time execution and cost saving. Key Responsibilities a) Vaccines distribution: Distribution planning from port to Hub, CFAs. To engage with supply planning, global and local logistics, import clearance teams for ensuring intime product availability. Engage with internal stakeholders for ensuring product availability in line with indicated demands. Incident Managements for Primary distribution (Cold) Vaccine CDL sample Managements Vaccine release and tracking meeting with Regulatory & Quality. In transit adherence report. To make sure through daily tracking of all the in-transit products that it reaches the destination within time. Ensure closure of all CAPA\'s (GMP + other CAPAs) in a timely manner and no overdue CAPA\'s. (Interim) Imports vaccine space calculation & Managements b) Customer service: Liaise with commercial team on constraint allocation, demand sensing, sharing supply updates. Conduct monthly meeting. Customer Management - connect with key customers at each CFA. Liaise with CFAs for ensuring customer Service, prioritization and OTIF delivery as per the plan. Soft box management (Primary and secondary distribution for cold chain products) Engage with CFA and transporter to ensure connectivity of goods at customer as per norm. c) Cost delivery: Responsible for managing allocated cost for the year towards movement of goods. Annual budgeting and related workstreams Regular updates for related risks and opportunities. d) Project management: Drive futuristic roadmap for warehouse network optimization and Liaise with global planning & logistics team, India imports, W&D, procurement team QA and EHS teams for execution. Maintain detailed project charter, monitor milestones and drive governance with internal and external stake holders Work with cross functional stakeholders to achieve time completion of activities. Timely updates to stake holders and drive decision making Ensure onboarding, training of LSPs as per plan. Assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables. Drive sustainability initiatives as an overall project agenda for Vaccine business and work with cross functional teams to reduce Carbon foot print. Knowledge/ Education / Experience Required A. Educational Background Graduate in science / engineering and post graduate in supply chain management B. Job-Related Experience Minimum 8 years\' experience of distribution planning, transportation, warehousing, project management, driving improvements, delivering service and cost KPIs. C.
