Tata nexarc is a digital growth platform that enables emerging businesses grow, solve challenges, and optimize processes. It offers a range of trusted products, solutions, and services; logistics being one of them.
Logistics business will have pan-India coverage; technology forms the core of the business processes and will drive the scale and efficiencies envisioned. The business is currently in the planning phase and comprises of a small core team. It envisions to launch in 5 metro cities within a year and expand pan-India shortly thereafter.

Role / Purpose
Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize operations through different initiatives by collaborating with multiple stakeholders to achieve the business goals
• Manage all commercial aspects with suppliers (i.e., pricing negotiations, critical issues, contract execution, supplier relationship etc.)
• Develop and maintain high performing relationships with key strategic partners both internally and externally
• Execute the service provider selection process and component qualification for onboarding
• Develop service provider capabilities and aid in maturing their operations
• Achieve established commitments on cost, supply, quality, compliance adherence, and on-time delivery
• Timely escalation of issues to leadership

• At least 10 years of experience in operations preferably in logistics
• Experience in managing large teams in complex operations
• Self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise, and problem solve in a rapidly changing environment
• Leadership Skills - Ability to motivate, inspire, encourage and challenge the team to maximize their productivity
• Comfortable with starting small and ramping up to a large team
• Ability to partner with internal and external teams to problem solve and build credibility and trust
• Strong Analytical skills to initiate and drive daily improvement independently
• Inter-personal Skills - Ability to be proactive, demonstrate outstanding problem-solving skills and work in a group settingand format
