Duties and responsibilities of a Student Counselor:

Primary Responsibilities

1. Counseling Sessions: Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to support students' academic, personal, and social development.

2. Student Assessment: Assess students' needs, concerns, and goals to develop effective counseling plans.

3. Career Guidance: Provide career guidance and exploration opportunities to help students make informed decisions about their future.

4. Academic Support: Offer academic support and strategies to help students achieve their academic goals.

5. Crisis Intervention: Respond to student crises, such as mental health concerns or emergencies, and provide appropriate support and referrals.
