Job Summary: An educational counselor is responsible for providing guidance and support to students in their academic, personal, and career development. The counselor must have a thorough knowledge of educational pathways, admission processes, career options, and must possess excellent communication skills to communicate with students and parents. - Assess student\'s interests, skills, and abilities to help them identify potential career paths and educational goals.
- Advise students on the appropriate academic programs, courses, and extracurricular activities based on their interests and abilities.
- Provide assistance to students in selecting and applying to educational institutions, including assistance with college applications, essays, and scholarships.
- Offer support to students in managing academic challenges, personal and family issues, and emotional concerns.
- Organize and facilitate workshops and events related to academic and personal development, career exploration, and college preparation.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and parents to ensure student success and satisfaction.
- Maintain student records and documentation related to counseling sessions, academic progress, and other relevant information.
