• Reporting to the Senior Mechanical/Civil/Structural Engineer, the candidate will carry out assigned civil and structural design work as part of a multi-discipline project team

• To promote safe behaviour at all times * Required to perform on site surveys and data gathering exercises at various project locations.

• To provide discipline specific design and drafting services that meet the Project's, and applicable statutory and regulatory, requirements

• To provide technical support to the site team during design, engineering and construction

• Preparation and checking of all types of civil and structural design deliverables such as General Arrangement Drawings, civil earthworks drawings, structural drawings, 3D Models, structural steel details, Material Take-Offs, etc

• Interdisciplinary check of all Civil/Structural/Piping/Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation drawings

• Review of vendor drawings for Equipment / Package items

• To assist in the coordination of all activities related to the discipline

• Strong commitment to safety

• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Excel and Word

• Developing engineering documents working with Engineers, Designers and other drafters

• Undertake site visits for field verification, prepare markups, provide technical support for construction etc

• Providing training and mentoring of junior level Design Engineers/Graduates

• Using softwares like Staad Pro, SAP, ANSYS, ABACUS etc. in onshore, offshore structures, building structures softwares for industrial, manufacturing, and utilities projects (EPC and FEED stages)

Skills / Qualifications:

• In depth knowledge of Engineering concept in design of various structures ,connections, specifications, International codes and standards (AISC,EU,BS etc.) ,operation of a Engineering and modern CAD based multi disciplinary drawing office. -Work experience in Oil/Energy /Industrial/Commercial structures & building structures .

• Good communication skills.

• Should be a team player and client-oriented, flexible and should have desire to take extra effort

• Flexible, Enthusiastic, conscientious and keen to learn.
