Job Title - Strategic Buyer (Energy Products)
Job Overview
In this role, you will be part of our high-achieving Strategic Procurement Team, delivering competitive advantage for our business. KM offers a broad portfolio of energy solutions driving the green transition, including switchboards, frequency converters, and energy storage systems. You will oversee procurement and sourcing to ensure reliable supply, cost efficiency, and compliance, while fostering strong supplier relationships to support strategic objectives.
1.Qualifications & Experience

• BE / B. Tech / master's degree in electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 4 to 5 years in purchasing or strategic sourcing, preferably within the maritime industry.

2.Soft Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong experience in negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• self-motivated and able to motivate team members

3.Roles & responsibilities

• Prepare and manage tender documents, evaluate supplier bids, and support the tendering process to ensure competitive and compliant submissions.
• Influence and implement sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery of energy products.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Lead the procurement of energy products for maritime applications, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
• Monitor market trends and developments in energy products to inform sourcing decisions
• Manage supplier relationships and performance, ensuring high standards of service and delivery.

• Contract Negotiation - 4-5 years

Preferred:

• Maritime industry experience - 4-5 years
