Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage daily store activities including receiving, inspection, storage, and dispatch of materials such as paddy, polished rice, broken rice, husk, bran, and other by-products. Ensure proper storage practices, inventory control, and stock rotation to maintain product quality. Oversee record-keeping, stock reconciliation, and preparation of reports related to inventory and material usage. Coordinate with the procurement, production, and logistics teams for smooth material flow. Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase requests as needed to avoid stock-outs or excess inventory. Conduct periodic stock audits and ensure accuracy in reporting and documentation. Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality control protocols in the warehouse. Train and guide store staff on proper handling, inventory tracking, and documentation. Resolve stock-related issues and discrepancies in a timely manner. Maintain equipment and infrastructure used in the store and ensure proper housekeeping. Support management in improving storage processes and implementing best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, or relevant field. 3-5 years of experience in warehouse/store management, preferably in rice mills, food processing, or agriculture-related industries. Strong knowledge of inventory management and material handling procedures. Good leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with stock software and MS Excel. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and handle bulk materials.

Preferred:

Experience in managing agricultural commodities and food-grade storage. Knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirements in food processing.

Work Environment:

On-site at the rice mill, with possible coordination across departments. Physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and inspecting materials may be required.
