Handle day-to-day purchasing of raw materials, groceries, kitchen items, and operational supplies
Visit local markets and vendors for purchasing as and when required
Identify, develop, and negotiate with vendors for best quality and pricing
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials
Maintain proper stock levels and avoid shortages or overstocking
Manage inventory records, issue materials, and track stock movement
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation
Maintain purchase bills, invoices, and vendor records
Coordinate with kitchen, operations, and accounts teams
Ensure proper storage, hygiene, and FIFO/LIFO practices
Control wastage, pilferage, and expiry of materials
Prepare purchase and stock reports as required
Follow company policies and audit requirements
Key Requirements:
2-4 years of experience in purchase and store management
Experience in restaurant, hotel, catering, or central kitchen preferred
Must know how to ride a two-wheeler and have a valid driving license
Should be willing to travel locally for market purchases and vendor visits
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, inventory software preferred)
Good negotiation and communication skills
Honest, organized, and detail-oriented
Should be able to handle team
