to manage daily store and inventory operations for our restaurant/central kitchen. The role involves receiving, issuing, and organizing raw materials, ensuring proper storage conditions, and maintaining accurate stock records.
Key Responsibilities
Receive raw materials, ingredients, packaging items, and supplies from vendors
Verify quantity and quality of received items against purchase orders
Properly store goods following FIFO/FEFO methods and hygiene standards
Issue materials to kitchen/production team as per requisition
Maintain daily stock records and update inventory sheets/software
Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies
Ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in the store area
Monitor expiry dates, damaged items, and storage conditions
Assist with vendor returns, replacements, and documentation
Coordinate with kitchen, procurement, and accounts teams for smooth operations
Follow food safety & hygiene standards (FSSAI guidelines)
Requirements
Minimum 10th/12th pass; or Graduate in any related field preferred
1-2 years experience in restaurant store operations (preferred)
Knowledge of raw materials, perishables, and kitchen supplies
Basic computer Knowledge and skills (Excel, inventory software)
Good communication, math, and record-keeping skills
Should have valid 2-wheeler license (gear / non-gear)
