Key responsibilities

• Having experience working with enterprise storage solutions such as Hitachi, EMC, Dell, Huawei, or IBM can be beneficial for a storage admin role. This experience can provide a solid understanding of storage systems, their capabilities, and limitations, and how to configure and manage them.
• Working with a 3DC (3 Data Center) environment can also be an advantage, as this type of environment can provide better resilience and data protection. As a storage admin, you should be familiar with configuring and managing storage systems in a 3DC environment.
• Performance tuning and troubleshooting experience are critical skills for a storage admin to have. You should be able to identify performance issues and implement strategies to optimize storage performance. Troubleshooting skills are also essential to quickly diagnose and resolve issues when they arise.
• Experience with Cisco or Brocade switches is also beneficial since storage systems often rely on network switches to connect storage devices to servers. Familiarity with switch configurations and how to troubleshoot connectivity issues can be an advantage in this role.

• Planning and implementing storage solutions based on the organization\xe2\x80\x99s needs and budget.
• Monitoring storage systems and ensuring they are running smoothly.
• Troubleshooting issues that arise with storage systems.
• Optimizing storage performance and capacity utilization.
• Managing backup and recovery procedures to ensure data is protected in the event of a disaster or system failure.
