Wash and sanitize all kitchen utensils, dishes, glasses, and cooking equipment.
Ensure proper handling and storage of clean dishes and equipment.
Clean kitchen floors, walls, worktables, and food preparation areas according to hygiene standards.
Operate dishwashing machines safely and efficiently.
Collect and dispose of garbage and kitchen waste regularly and responsibly.
Refill detergents, cleaning supplies, and sanitizing agents as needed.
Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic preparation tasks when required.
Maintain cleanliness of food storage areas, including refrigerators and freezers.
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and occupational health guidelines.
Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions promptly.
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience in a similar stewarding or housekeeping role is an advantage.
Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-temperature kitchen environment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
