Job Description

The Steward/Waiter is responsible for providing courteous, efficient, and prompt service to guests by taking food and beverage orders, serving meals, and ensuring guest satisfaction in the dining area.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables Present menu and provide detailed information about items Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen Serve food and beverages promptly and correctly Ensure tables are properly set before service Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining area Clear tables after guests finish dining Handle guest complaints politely and inform the supervisor Follow all hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards Upsell menu items when appropriate Assist in room service when required Support during banquets and special events
