Job Summary:



The Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and dishwashing areas. This includes cleaning dishes, utensils, equipment, and kitchen surfaces, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety standards to support efficient kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:



Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment. Clean kitchen floors, walls, and work surfaces to maintain hygiene standards. Remove trash and food waste, and ensure proper disposal procedures are followed. Organize and store kitchen equipment and utensils in their designated areas. Assist with receiving and storing kitchen supplies and deliveries. Operate dishwashing machines and maintain them in good working condition. Refill cleaning supplies and report low stock or maintenance issues. Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times. Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic cleaning or prep tasks when needed.

Qualifications:



No formal education required; prior stewarding or cleaning experience is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of kitchen equipment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Team player with a cooperative attitude.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?170,000.00 per month
