Job Summary:



We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Restaurant Steward to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dishwashing areas. The steward plays a key support role in ensuring a clean and safe environment for kitchen and service staff.

Key Responsibilities:



Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using manual and machine methods. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, storerooms, and dishwashing areas. Dispose of garbage and kitchen waste properly and regularly. Ensure cleaning materials and supplies are stocked and used safely. Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic tasks when required (e.g., moving ingredients, organizing storage). Handle all kitchen equipment carefully to avoid damage or injury. Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor promptly. Follow all health, hygiene, and safety regulations. Maintain proper segregation and disposal of wet and dry waste.

Qualifications:



No formal education required; basic literacy preferred. Previous experience in kitchen stewarding or cleaning is an advantage but not mandatory. Physical stamina to work long hours, stand for extended periods, and lift heavy items. Attention to detail and a strong sense of cleanliness and hygiene. Ability to work in a team and take direction from supervisors.

Working Conditions:



Exposure to hot, wet, and humid environments. Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
