Expertise in Video/DOCSIS headend

  • Adhere to the Organizations Policies
  • Provide technical support to internal and external customers via phone, email, and CRM tool
  • Provide on-call off hours support as required
  • Work with geographically dispersed cross functional team
  • Use standard Tech Support tools and processes (CRM for Service Request, Call Tracking, and knowledge base tools to record customer reported issues and progress as being issue to resolution, CISCO phone, email)
  • Provide speed, accuracy, and consistency of content. Attend and setup calls/remote solving with customer as needed to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform fault reproduction and troubleshooting, system characterization and analysis, root cause analysis of product issues up to and including drafting Postmortem documents, Field Bulletins, and opening Product Defects with engineering teams.
  • Learning Technology and Business Process (as per the assigned Functional/Technical area)
  • Include proven competencies and physical, mental, & interpersonal skills.

Skills Required
  • Should have strong problem-solving skills
  • Work in team/project environment (collaborate well with cross functional / global teams)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong Video headend and infrastructure knowledge
  • Proficient with Linux/Unix operating system
