AMD together we advance_ STAFF SAP HANA DEVELOPER THE ROLE: Join our organization in delivering operational excellence as we expand our data warehousing and analytics systems. Our team manages our corporate data warehouse solutions, providing critical information for management reporting, financial reporting, and machine learning models. We build and maintain data pipelines, prepare analytical models, assist business stakeholders in using information systems, acquire new datasets as needed, and troubleshoot data issues. We are looking for a skilled SAP HANA developer to join our team. THE PERSON: A successful candidate possesses demonstrated ability in data warehousing, SAP HANA development, and data analytics. Experience in developing data models in SAP HANA Cloud, including the use of Business Application Studio (BAS), GitHub, and the HANA Deployment Infrastructure (HDI) is preferred, although candidates with significant experience in using HANA Studio will also be considered. Experience is using SAP Analysis for Office to build reporting views against HANA models is very valuable. Familiarity with ETL tools such as Informatica as well as with other database platforms such as Snowflake and Microsoft SQL Server is desirable. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Build models in SAP HANA, applying appropriate business logic to base data from SAP S/4 HANA and from other systems, working with business stakeholders to understand requirements, and structuring the models for easy access by business users. Build appropriate monitoring and reconciliation procedures for HANA models to ensure data completeness and accuracy. Build reporting templates against HANA models using SAP Analysis for Office (or other appropriate tools) to present data in a business-consumable fashion. Assist users in accessing data in HANA as needed. Collaborate with team members to incorporate HANA models into larger data pipelines. Troubleshoot and resolve data issues. Provide support as needed for HANA models. The position will involve some rotating on-call or after-hours support. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Expert level skills in HANA modeling, with experience in working with SAP HANA Cloud, BAS, HDI, and GitHub preferred, although experience with HANA Studio will also be considered. Strong SQL experience, including Stored Procedures and Table Functions. Experience with SAP HANA architecture, including replication tools such as SLT and SDI. Experience in building reporting templates with SAP Analysis for Office Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica (preferred), as the role includes opportunities for data pipeline development outside of HANA. Experience in working with financial information in SAP a plus. Excellent communication & Microsoft office skills. Passion for attention to detail & organizing information Ability to drive to tight deadlines as a part of a global, horizontal team ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Science, or related disciplines.
