DEDIQ is a Munich-based, operative investor focusing on innovative and fast-growing companies. For our new FSI Unit (SAP Fioneer) emerging from a strategic partnership with SAP, we are looking for dynamic new colleagues to build up and develop our financial solutions for the next generation's banking and insurance industry.

Our vision for the banking and insurance companies of the future are customer centric high touch lifestyle institutions with efficient data management, state of the art regulation, based in the cloud.

SAP Fioneer will use its agility to build a modern, cloud focused FSI specific portfolio. The company will offer solutions to financial service providers tailored to address their needs and that cover their operative processes end-to-end. This will help banks, insurers, and other corporations to lower the need for home-grown solutions to enable new business models achieving rapid innovation, low IT cost and getting to a simplified operating model.

The financial services development team is a global and is spread across 3 different continents. In the teams, we follow the SCRUM method and practice an agile and trust-based working model. As an integral member of the team in Pune, India, you will be working as a fully contributing team member committed to a robust product with high quality.

Requirements

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As a Developer you will be a team member in our cross-functional SCRUM team in Bangalore. You will be responsible for developing very high-quality software with your team.

Expectations: * Demonstrate excellent development, quality & delivery skills in scrum teams, working in short development and release cycles.

• Work with geographically distributed teams seamlessly.
• Exhibit learning agility by quickly upskilling on new tasks and concepts.
• Follow agile software engineering methods and develop software including coding, testing, quality assurance, and documentation.

Tasks:

Your tasks depend on the current backlog in each sprint and comprise the following activities: * You will write design documents for new software features and review them with your scrum team.

• You will develop according to the reviewed design and carry out developer tests.
• You will test the new software and correct it during the internal test phase (functional integration test)
• You will correct issues in the software during customer tests (solution acceptance test)
• You will analyse and solve (complex) issues in existing and new code.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES * Academic degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or comparable qualification

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• An excellent understanding of data structures & algorithms
• Understand the concepts of functional and object-oriented paradigms

WORK EXPERIENCE * 2 to 7 years of relevant experience

• Good experience in the product technology stack mentioned above
• Experience in SAP application development or an expertise in financial services application development would be an advantage.
• Exposure to debugging, troubleshooting and performance tuning for complex SQL queries
