Your Career Palo Alto Networks\'s enterprise architecture group is looking for a seasoned QA tester to be part of our quality assurance team. Our office-based roles in India work from their respective location at least four days per week. Our team in India has grown significantly over the last few years and working together in person helps us all build deeper relationships and trust that accelerate our work, allow us to feel safer in taking risks and being disruptive, and increase the speed to work through issues and ideas informally. The days of the week are decided at a team level, and the hours remain flexible within reason Your Impact Collaborate with IT product owners to develop effective test strategies and create a roadmap of projects requiring manual testing Understand the detailed business scenarios, create design documents and define the testing plan for each project Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results - Create logs to document testing phases and defects Identify test data requirements - For data driven tests, understand all possible combinations of test data for the specific test case/test scenario and organize the relevant test data Report bugs and errors to development teams - Create and share testing and defect tracking reports with stakeholders Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle Be part of the Agile team and work with developers and product owners to test the feature being built and improve the quality of the Application Support, debug, and break fix any issues with Test Automation Bots independently Coordinate day-to-day problem, issue resolution and ensure timely resolution of issues Your Experience Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or any technical degree or equivalent military experience required 10+ years of experience in IT testing with good exposure to Test Design & Assurance, test scenario design, test and defect management - Experience of full STLC as part of SDLC Testing experience in business applications like SFDC, SAP, Ariba etc. A minimum of 5 years of test automation experience on UI testing, data driven test approach, API testing, Mobile Application Testing Strong experience with test management/defect management/source control products (Ex- ServiceNow, Jira, Zephyr, GitHub etc) High energy and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Enjoys working with many different teams with strong collaboration and communications skills Fast learner and eager to absorb new emerging technologies Programming /Scripting experience is an advantage Any relevant certifications is an advantage This is Bangalore onsite office based opportunity The Team Our IT Quality assurance team is responsible for ensuring that high quality products are delivered to our business users. They are the first line of defense in vetting any new product build and assisting our engineers build reliable and scalable solutions. It\'s a critical function which will enable all of IT to execute with excellence, at a faster pace without compromising the delivery quality.
