Job Description

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain and improve the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environment. This includes both the embedded SW products for the transport system, as well as Java based Network Management products.
  • Responsible for maintaining and improving security controls in Jenkins pipelines (Groovy background encouraged).
  • Responsible for Jira/Confluence adaptations and integration towards Jenkins, CI/CD workflow.
  • Global collaboration with distributed development teams across geolocations
Experience Necessary for Success:
  • Experience working with Developers, DevOps, and Engineering teams in a dynamic environment to promote/implement the DevOps program throughout the organization.
  • Experience coordinating and performing vulnerability assessments through the use of automated and manual tools
  • Ability to review and analyze vulnerability data to identify security risks to the organization's network, infrastructure, and application's and determine any reported vulnerabilities that are false positives.
  • Capability to prepare security vulnerability and risk management reports for management.
  • Leadership and Teaming skills to coordinate remediation of vulnerabilities within established timeframes.
  • Proficiency in understanding programing languages and reading C/C++ Programming and Bash, Python or other scripting languages.
  • Comprehension in the security areas of Key Management Systems, Certificate Management, Encryption, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Scanning, Security and Monitoring tools, etc.
  • Experience configuring, implementing and leveraging computer security and networking diagnostic/monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux Administration
  • Ability to work with APIs and Plugins to integrate DevOps tools into established CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with commonly used tools like Jenkins, Binwalk, Blackduck, WhiteSource, defensics, Coverity, SonarQube. Artifactory, Ansible, Docker, Bitbucket/Git, Maven, Gradle, Conan, Jira and Confluence.
Education & Skills Necessary for Success:
  • BE/BTech
  • 10 Years of experience in Product development environment
  • Good communication skills.
Meriting experience and qualifications:
  • Experience with Python, Groovy, Shell Scripting, makefiles, Cmake, HTML, Web Technology
  • Experience with Docker
  • Interest/ Experience in Build Machines Management/ Build Infrastructure Management
  • Familiar with Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google cloud)
  • A background in a DevSecOps role in an embedded SW organization is desirable
  • Familiarity with API Security, Container Security, Cloud Security
  • Experience with security automation and machine learning.
