Key Responsibilities:




ETL & Data Integration


Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).


Implement complex workflows, error handling, and logging within SSIS.


Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.


Integrate data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, flat files, cloud).




Database Development


Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.


Perform data modeling, schema design, and database performance tuning.


Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance through validation mechanisms.




.NET Development


Develop .NET applications/services to support ETL and data processing requirements.


Build and maintain APIs, services, and automation scripts in C# or VB.NET.


Integrate backend applications with SQL Server and SSIS packages.


Apply object-oriented design principles and design patterns.




Deployment & Support


Deploy SSIS packages across environments using SSDT, Azure DevOps, or third-party tools.


Collaborate with DevOps teams to set up CI/CD pipelines for ETL deployments.


Troubleshoot data issues, production incidents, and performance bottlenecks.


Provide L3 support for data pipelines and integrations.




10+ years of professional experience in SQL Server and SSIS development.


Strong expertise in SSIS package design, debugging, and optimization.


Advanced SQL skills: T-SQL, query optimization, indexing, performance tuning.


Solid experience in .NET (C# preferred) for backend development and automation.


Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML integration.


Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL pipelines, and data modeling.
